I recently got my PS3 120GB, now it has been a week since I got it.

I had to make an instal before playing GTA Episodes and my PS3 was making wierd noises when playing Uncharted. Is it normal? If not, what might it be?

But Overall it is a great console, it works fast has tons of features, the free online is nice... recomend it to anyone who doesn't yet have a PS3!

Also I got my first Platinium! Got it in Uncharted: Drakes Fortune!

i havent had a problem with my slim and I've had it since november 09. you might just be hearing the sound of the disc being read.

and yes i love the free online! no money and no lag(at least for me)!

I'm sure someone will be able to give you some help on the weird sound but you'd have to be more specific.

What's the 'weird sound' like? are there any particular times when you hear this sound?

What kind of noise? If it's a sort of cracking or creaking sound I get that too. It's just the heat making the plastic expand.

yeah mine have that noise too... don't worry about it , its normal.
i bought my slim since september 2009 and until now nothing seems wrong with it xD

could it of been the hard drive?

i noticed it more often during uncharted than others.
