You guys meet any of them? PSN, LIVE, whatever Nintendo's shit is called, PC, etc? I was playing Uncharted 2 with KylieDog this morning, and was in a match with 3-4 of them in a game of 8 =/

Names like, LadyShizuka, jap0ndaisuki, and shit like that =/

Then met and talked with a real Japanese player on GTA IV (which, holy shit, fucking BLOWS).

Used to see a lot of them when I was playing Ragnarok Online. There was this one who apparently wanted a cool name, but ended up with the word for pleasant weather type of cool in his nick.

Well, I'm probably going to start a huge fight with this post, but I'll post it anyways:

1. Could you tone down the swearing just a tad a bit? I'm an adult, sure, and I swear from time to time as well. But you don't need to say fuck in every other post. I dunno, it just sounds kind of dumb.

2. You have anime in your avatar and signature, and if memory serves, you've posted yuri porn on the forum at least once. So while I'm not saying you're "Wapanese," you don't really have room to criticize a whole lot here.

3. While they do exist, I find the "super pro, MLG, awesome" names a lot worse ("xxXHeadshotXxx, xxPr0 Sn1perxx, etc.).

2. Wapanese is pretending to be Japanese. Although ethnicly I'm Japanese, I consider myself, proudly, to be American. That's why I don't try to use names that sound Japanese or take pride or consider myself Japanese. I'm not saying enjoying Japanese culture, food (mmmm... so fucking good. THAT is the best part of Japan. Fuck anime, samurais, philosophies, etc. I am a hedonist and consumerist, and the main thing we consume in life is food), etc is bad. As long as you identify yourself as a person who appreciates, loves, obssessed with, etc with Japanese culture is fine. It's only when people adopt Japanese names, and start saying shit like "No, you're wrong, I KNOW what I saw in anime, manga, etc is what occurs in Japan", or say random Japanese phrases. I appreciate my heritage, but that's all it is, a heritage. I'm not Japanese, and I can only become one by actually going there, squatting down there, and living there, becoming socialized.

3. Yeah, they're annoying. Still Wapanese tops them IMHO.

Calling my PSN Tensai-Shonen isn't going to bide well with you then ;P

1. I'm sorry, felt like addressing that. It just makes you sound angry a lot. Sorry.

2. Yeah, I see your point here. I definitely hate Wapanese people as well, especially when they start saying how they'd SO MUCH RATHER LIVE IN JAPAN THAN LAME OLD AMERICA (and trying to be Japanese when they're white and middle class). I'm part Mongolian, but you'd never see me shooting a bow off horseback (well, at least not all the time).

3. I dunno, you see the "pro" names so more often. It's almost to the point where there's one in every lobby. Not to mention that Wapanese people are usually terrible (and terribly fun to own), while pro people (despite usually being average) use cheap tactics to win (camping being the most common).

2. Fucking steepe people. Fucking ruined the Romans, raped the Russians, etc. Thank god when guns came to end the age of calvary.

3. Meh, that's just because you play CoD.
