Till they assure that the controls are bearable... pass.

already confirmed no waterd down noob controls, "gameplay remains unchanged"

guess your gonna have to stick to bad company :)

What exactly are "noob controls"? If you're talking about aim assist, I disable it. Saying better controls are "n00bish" is like saying playing with your hands is "n00bish".

Saying different controls are better is noobish. Especially when it comes to this games where there are so many opinions. Now i'm only saying noobish cause you guys did. What I really want to say is weak, or lame.

Killzone 3 is looking very interesting.

I can deal with different buttons. I can deal with different senstitivies and speeds. But I cannot deal with illogical shit, where no matter how much I change the sensitivity, the dot of the scope never fucking lands of the head like it does with every single other shooter. It either goes too far, or it goes too little. I have no interest in the input lag controversey, or explaining it, but all I'm asking for is to be able to actually point, and fucking shoot.

In my opinion, games should be about tactics and strategy, and not about mechanical controlling. Controls mean very little to me, as long as they WORK. Controls are simply a means to the gameplay, and that is where the Killzone 2 had a lot of things going. However, it's very hard to access that gameplay, if you cannot even execute the things you want to do.

and everyone had those problems???

that's the point I'm trying to make, some people loved the controls of killzone 2, and didn't fall into the same short comings as you and a whole bunch of other people because they learned how to play. I do not care what other games controled like because other games weren't killzone 2, and the controls contributed to that, it made the game unique, and the true fanbase of the game don't what to have the controls changed thus killing it's idenity to suit others because they couldn't figure it out.

that to me is why I strongly dislike bad company 2. I played and loved the first one but many others didn't under the same circumstances as killzone 2, it wasn't controls but gameplay, simple things like no helth re-gen and having to put more than 4 bullests in an enemy to kill him was to difficult for most, that's why bad company 2 is almost in no way like the first, DICE killed it's formula to suit the people who couldn't figure it out, that's why there's health re-gen, perks, sniper shot-guns, over-powered lmg's and tiny bottle neck maps. now to many that's was awesome and better than the first but to the actual fans who gave bad company 1 a chance and were goos at it, these changes make the game almost unplayable.

I don't want to see what happened to bad company happen to killzone, all for the sake of noobs who couldn't do it.

But... you see... I but the game for MYSELF. Not out of some public good. Do I believe GG has an obligation to do anything? No. Nobody has such thing, that's the beauty of the free market. The flip side is though, I have no obligation to buy the game, and every right to complain.

But that's my point I illustrated before. GAMEPLAY should be what seperates fanbases, because THAT is what's relevant. Scaring potential consumers by using either a flawed or as you call it, different, control is bad. I loved the clan system, I loved the options it gave, I loved the damage your character can take, the graphics, the dedicated servers, etc. But I could not access that to my heart's content when I could not simply fucking headshot people like I can with every single other shooter I play. And it's hard for me to believe that it's just "unique", unless Killzone 2 is the only odd one out there.

Doesn't Killzone 2 have regenerating health, and let you swap in abilities of other classes? I don't think the sniper shot guns were over powered that much, especially with the patch. But pre-patch, nobody used it at all. Mostly because the lack of scope and having to stay completely still and waiting for the cross hair to reset makes you too vulnerable. It's comparable to the Rifle in Killzone 2. The M60 was overpowered, but to me it was nothing more than an annoyance that everybody was using it, rather than annoyance of not being able to do anything, as such a thing was not the case. It was not as crippling as the Rocket Launcher in Killzone 2. You could still just headshot the Medics. If you're going to talk about noobish, I'll say that the inclusion of a one shot kill sniper is plenty noobish. I'm surprised you don't mention more relevant things like the Apache.
