The thing I did't get is if they now are making money for each console they sell, or if by saying that ps3 is profitable they mean that they have recovered all the losses caused by it.

It certainly isnt that...  I doubt the PS3 could ever get back the losses it has incurred.

yeah that would be dificult and would take alot of time

SW sales are the only way they could

What we can be sure is that IF Sony is earning more money than the sum of all their manufacturing and transport costs, it isn't the necessary amount to recover the personnel, marketing and research expenses. PS2 and PSP earn a healthy amount, Sony earns a considerable profit from PS3 first party and third party games and accessories, but they still bleed a considerable amount. The numbers don't add, so it's false that they are making money in the PS3 hardware, or they have some serious management problem.

i know it's around $50 but only from european countries, i think they lose money on units sold in america, but i am not sure how much

I agree, $100 is way too much at this point, NS. I say that $50 could be done though, and keep in mind that Sony looks like it will be getting an additional source of revenue with the premium services thing.

That's my personal prediction, too.  A $50 price cut to the PS3, then have Move bundled in for a total of $349.

how the hell will move be bundled at $349

if they take out DS3 and put in Move($30),NAV($20),EYE(20) they could pack in at $299 without a loss.and they will be making profits across other SKU's

But that would be the stupidest thing in the world to not include the DS3.  They will keep the DS3 in there as well as the game you forgot and maybe even a second Move controller since some games require 2.  All that will be for $349 or higher.

how the hell is would be the stupidest thing when all of the DS3's features and buttons are on the MOVE controller.

there is no need of DS3 as you can do everything with MOVE and NAV even without the eyeas there non-motion signals go to PS3 like DS3 through bluetooth.

they will include a second MOVE controller or a NAV not both.

and that won't be for $349

THEY could release the current 120GB SKU at $249

second they could take out DS3 and release the MOVE bundle at $299

THIRD they could put both DS3 and MOVE with 250gb at $349

I was told, by VGChartz that they are making 72 cents per console.

I play PC and PS3. The best of both worlds.

Once again you are completely wrong.  The MOVE system only has 1 analog stick.  That right there would mean without the Eye there would be no possible way to play any of the dual analog stick games.

All the rest of your post is the same nonsense where you show you know absolutely nothing about product pricing and bundling.  They don't bundle things based on production cost, but on retail cost.  A $100 bundle that only includes Move, Eye, and a game at retail vs buying the PS3 bundle for $349 which includes a Nav controller as well for the same $100 cost would appear to be a savings of $30-40 at retail value for the consumer.

If they don't bundle Move, no one will buy it because the price of entry for being able to play any game with it is too high to buy standalone.  If they do bundle the PS3 will be back up to $349 or more.  360 will be back to being $100 cheaper for the similar spec machines (Elite vs PS3) even with Natal bundled in that 360.

My prediction is a clear out price because the standard will be a Move bundle, so price clear on the current stock for U$199-U$249 and Move bundle 160GB for U$299, Move bundle 320GB for U$349. Remember HDD prices go down in time so it's probably cheaper to buy 160/320 HDDs in bulk than it is to buy 120/250GBs in bulk, especially since laptops use 160/320/500GBs HDDs nowadays.
