What a waste of 6 friggin years.

Seriously, WHAT THE FUCK was that?

I was thinking the WORST possible ending would be the "It was all a dream" ending, this ending was only slightly better than that, and I do mean slightly...

I would have been happy with a couple things answered from say.. the first 5 seasons?! Not even everything, but throw me a couple answers :P

I know they say that it's not the ending, its the journey, as someone else mentioned earlier in this thread about "The Dark Tower" I thought that at least was a better ending than this.

Bring on the 'Ben and Hurley's Island Aventures' spinoff.

I can't believe people didn't like it, it encompassed so many of the themes of the show from the very beginning; being able to let go, the importance of community instead of isolation, relativity of time, etc.

It wasn't a perfect finale, some spots dragged on a little bit, and while I liked/loved the concept of the final scene I think it could have been executed a little better. But overall it was a great ending to a fantastic show.

I know many people were hoping for more answers to the mysteries, but for me the mysteries were always more about setting the mood of the series, and I feel like we got enough direct answers, or at least more hints about the bigger questions in the final season to satisfy me. Sure there are plenty of smaller mysteries that have been left unaddressed, but that just means that fans can continue to speculate like they have been for the past 6 years. The only thing I always wanted to know is why Ben was so infatuated with Juliet, and why Harper (The Others' therapist) told her "You look just like her". I"ve always wanted to know who her was.

Anyway, again a fantastic show that was always willing to take risks and actually had something to say instead of just being another derivative cop/medical/lawyer etc. show.

I liked the way it ended. I do wish we had some answers though. Overall I'm satisfied.

Man, that was a real crap. Not that I expected them to convincingly answer about all the random stuff they threw in the last six years.

I prefer to think that it was still an alternative timeline, its the only way to make sense of the S5 finale, and everything else since then.

GOD DAMM if that wasn't a fuck awesome ending. loved the star wars references lol



also so many characters rocked in the finale, what a fucking send off!
