Intellectually attacking extremism through art should be acceptable. I mean these people are only trying to combat extremism with drawings. Its hardly like their threatening to kill anyone!

That doesn't make you less of a douchebag for deliberately trying to offend people, and it doesn't make them (including myself) wrong for being offended.

I'm offended that people are offended. Just becuase someone does something that upsets you doesn't make them a douchebag. If we can disagree with pictures I would MUCH prefer that over more harmful means.

The whole problem is people treat Islam differently, why is it that you think silam should be immune to people voicing their opinion? All the other religions including Islam get insulted all the time....my point is it's our right to freedom of speech. Just like I can say i hate Christiainity.

Of course it's insulting, but Islam deserves and will get the same criticism as every other religion. If it doesn't wan't this, then it needs to do better PR which will go a lot farther than whining about insults or blowing shit up.

If it upsets Muslims im all for it.

And there are a lot of people that are really pissed off with Islam too.  I'm all for it, this should have happened sooner.  The sooner that muslims can learn to accept criticism, the sooner that they will be a full part of the world in a way that can tolerate others.
