I love X, together with VII it is my favorite FF. XII to me has, one of the best battle systems and I loved the story too. However, Auron is simply badass:

Auron has this mystic and mysterious aura to him which makes you feel like you can't figure him out. He knows everything, everything in the story down the hallway until the end. He is freaking dead! When sweet Yuna is performing the Sending and Auron is being vanished to pyreflies and Yuna hesitates to continue, that crazy dude simply says "It's allright.", or "Continue." That is how badass he is.

Gabranth on the other hand is pretty badass, but his badassness comes more from his simple presence or for being badass. I bet that we could have seen more from him if Basch would have stayed as the main character of XII but oh well, the game turned out awesome to me anyways.

Auron could kill anything

FFXII ws a POS, made me hate & giv up on ff till ff13 made me luv ff again

i go for auron - he is v v gud chrcter, badass & hs gud backstory.

But who won in the end? That's right! Auron watched her die and saved Spira. The Judge was just a douchebag.

Auron himself says that he did what he came to do. He could have taken his vanishing differently but he took it like the badass he is. He even called Rikku, worse than the thunder storm at the Thunder Plains, a character who is meant to be the cute and innocent character within that FF. If you, my friend, don't see that as being badass, then I guess we have a different meaning for the word.

I pick Gabranth. Coz this is badass

But Auron's a protagonist while the Judge is an antagonists, and we all know good guys win in video games. DUH!

Being a guy who's favorite characters from FFX and FFXII is Auron and Gabranth, and someone who has both a Gabranth and Auron Figurine....I have to say that title goes to Auron.

I think you guys are forgetting a lot of the fighting scenes he did and his special attacks, then if you count kingdom hearts, watch him fighting in that....one badass mofo.
