All I have left to say is this: I have high speed internet. I have a PS3, a (pretty weak) PC, a Wii and an Xbox 360. The 360 is the only Microsoft console I've ever owned so I'm not a fanboy (at least I don't think I am). There has to be a reason I do all of my online gaming on the 360 and there has to be a reason why I pay $50 to do it.

You game on the 360 to justify the spending $50 to do it, if you only played 1 game online on 360 instead of most for example it puts it into perspective.  If I rent a second car that cost me more money than my first I'm going to use that thing as much as possible.

Except for that's not true.  I could just not pay the $50 at all and use only the PS3 in most instances.  And I wouldn't rent that second more expensive car unless it was better than my cheaper car.

You say most instances, but I bet there must be -some- 360 exclusive(s) you like to play online.  Since you need pay to play those you just naturally shift all your gaming onto the same platform.  It's not necessarily a conscious thing.

Last year, I got Super Street Fighter HD Remix for the PS3 AND the 360.  I had fun on both consoles but problems with lag, disconnecting, and actually finding someone to play with were rampant on the PS3 version.  Plus, Steroid was kicking my ass.  This was all in preparation for Street Fighter 4, though.

Before SF4 released, my 360 died.  The PS3 version was on shelves for $60.  Rather than get that version, I waited until I could afford another 360, SF4, and a better controller (because the 360's d-pad was garbage).  For me, the better online was just that important.  And, like Twesterm said, everybody (that I know, at least) that owns a PS3 and a 360 always buys the 360 version of multiplatform games if they're going to play them online.  I got Batman AA on the PS3 and Final Fantasy 13 on the PS3 because the PS3 version was the best version.  I get my online kicks on the 360 because the 360 has the better online.  Like you said, it's not necessarily a conscious thing.  The 360's online is better.  It just feels better.  It runs better.  In my case, it runs $50 a year better.

Because of Halo basically, its worth every penny to play one of the best multiplayer experiences ever!  I would probably pay even more just to play Halo, it really is that good of a game (of course MW2 isn't that bad either, but when Reach comes out, thats it!)

Oh lord not again.

No no, that statement should be used for this overtalked about topic.

Or for the over hyped and overtalked video game version of the Power Rangers.

Hey man don't talk about something you don't have a clue about....

Oh please.

Oh please, what?  It's pretty clear you have no idea what you are talking about.

I actually see nothing similar at all between Power Rangers and Halo... So I guess that post was technically trolling?  Eh, I'm feeling generous today so I won't report you.

So i guess posting my opinion is considered trolling?

And reporting me?  Trolling?  LMAO!! I don't care if you report me!  Go ahead buddy.  I'm still coming back. :)

I don't care if you are coming back.  I have no conflict with you.  But what you said was in fact trolling.  And have you actually played the game to have an opinion?  Because it resembles nothing even remotely to Power Rangers... so I fail to see where you got such a flawed opinion.

NOOOOOOOO!!!  Im just going to talk about a game i have never played!  And if you didn't notice, i was being sarcastic.

And for the hell of it:

Epic fail if that was your intention I'm afraid.

It really doesn't matter as long as he understands.

Currently playing

MLB 09: The Show(PS3)

I have both consoles (ps3 and 360) but i play online only on ps3, why? because all my friends have ps3, so i understand why people pay online to play with their friends.

Why would you pay a fee to go to a country club when you can go to a public golf course for almost nothing? You get to go out and play golf either way. But there is something to be said about being in a moderated place thats got plenty of amenities and a well kept grounds.
