Yeh that's like saying Red Dead Redemption stole the hype for ModNation Racers... Though the loading times has affected the hype unfortunately...

Red Dead Redemption would be the first Red Dead game built from beginning to end by Rockstar.  Hopefully this cleared up some confusion.

Capcom started development of the title, but eventually canceled it.  Rockstar liked the idea, so they bought the game from Capcom and had Rockstar San Diego do a complete overhaul.  At it's very core, I guess you could say it's a Capcom game, but Rockstar turned it into what it is today.

The original concept had lots of Capcom craziness in it.

We can't know for sure yet. But I do think RDR had something to do with it aswell as :

Prince of Persia
Split Second
Lost Planet 2

Well the game got a good review but right now this month seems amazing Alan Wake for 360 SMG2 for Wii Mod Nation Racers PS3 3 Dot Heroes PS3 Split Second and RDR for the HD kids. Good thing Lost Planet 2 sucked or this month would be even more crowded.

I have been waiting to play Alan Wake for a long time, and currently I 've been thinking on which one to get now on day 1......Im sure Alan Wake is gonna be amazing because I love these sort of games but it looks like it will have a rather low replay value....While Red Dead seems to give you more for your dollar!!

ITS GONNA BE A TOUGH DECISION.....BUT MOST LIKELY IM GONNA END UP WITH BOTH ANYWAYS
Just which one, first is the question???

I would have bought Alan Wake first day but Red Dead came out... so I guess you can say some of it's sales were stolen because I won't be getting it first day anymore.
