Forums - Gaming - Amazon Shipping Question

So i ordered RDR from amazon and i chose free shipping. It doesnt matter to me if i get it on release day because my xbox is still in the repair center. I do want to get my game the same week though. Right i am looking at the invoice and it says it will nto ship until May 24th adn not arrive until June. The same thing happend to Mass Effect but it still shipped on Monday and arrived 2 days later. Is this something to worry about?

The date that is stated is irrelevant. I have received products before their estimated ship date.

Nothing to worry about. Amazon errs on the side of caution with their estimates so as to not be inundated with calls asking where things are when they're still logically in the system. Plus, your getting it "earlier than expected" looks good on Amazon to some people...

Yeah they just do that just in case. In most cases, you will get it early.

it takes 5-9 business days for super saver shipping, that means it could take nearly 2 weeks. I just got MH3 from there and it took 10 days, actually 8 business days.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Longest I have ever waited to get something from Amazon or through Amazon has been 5 business days

since it is a preorder it should ship tomorrow right guys? thats what happend with mass effect 2 for me and i got super saver shipping

sign up for amazon prime free trial if u havent. free 2 day shipping. cancel it before it expires. i got it for half a year for free for 2 trials.

Super Saver is hit oor miss.  Sometimes you get things in 2 days (if it ships from a local warehouse), or it could take 2 weeks.  I stopped using it because they will sit on your order for several days if there are more high-priority orders from people that pay for shipping.  Now I have a Prime account and I get things in 2 days every time.  I wasn't sure it was worth it, but I love it and I find now that I order lots of things on Amazon that I'd norrmally just buy locally.  If I don't need it *that day*, I don't mind a two day wait.

You may get lucky, but I wouldn't count on fast shipping with Super Saver.  Generally, it's within about 5 days though.
