Hello :P Well... this is the first Thread I start on this site so I hope I'm doing everything right ^_^

Before starting, Note that the title says *Spoilers*... which means that this thread may contain God of War III spoilers for those who haven't finnished or played the game yet... so enter at your own risk! :O :P

For those who don't know what "NUR" stands for... it means "No Upgrade Run"

A "No Upgrade Run" on GoW III is when you finnish the game from beginning to end without upgrading/leveling up any Weapon or Item, without activating any godly possession and without getting any phoenix feather/gorgon eye/minotaur horn.

If you want to join the GoWIII Chaos NUR Club you must have completed the game doing a NUR Challenge on Chaos (Very Hard) mode.

Tell us which was the hardest part for you in the game while you were doing your Chaos NUR Challenge :P

*SPOILER WARNING*

The hardest parts for me were the big Scorpion boss fight (some of its attacks kill you in 1 hit)... I had to try so many times :S And the Cerberus breeder part or whatever it's called... it was even harder than the Scorpion >_> I probably died 50+ times there xD I was so happy when I killed it and the Satyrs (if that's what they're called :P) I was like WOOOOOOOOOOOO I KILLED IT! and called my little brother and told him "I KILLED IT, I KILLED IT, I'M SO PRO" and he was like "yeah, right. You were just luky. It killed you a lot of times and you spent hours trying to kill it" :P

Zeus was too easy... specially the first fight. I used the triangle triangle attack with the Cestus and when he floats to shoot lighting bolts at you you can grab him with Circle and that deals a lot of damage to him :P It's harder to grab him on the second encounter but it's not really necessary... just use the Cestus and try to kill him BEFORE he spawns his clones :P it gets very hard if that happens :S

I just about managed to finish it on chaos, i couldnt imagine doing it with NUR, seems impossible. its a shame they dont give you a trophy for this, i found it extremely difficult. the bit i struggled with the most was the scorpion. until i figured out you could press circle to kill the scorpion babies, get your health back and render yourself immune to any attack for a few secs.

otherwise nigh on impossible. oh that last fight with zeus was easy, theres only one attack that was really difficult to dodge.

Yeah, I don't know why there isn't a Trophy for beating it on chaos... but whatever :P I always finnish my games on the hardest difficulties just for fun... I even used to do that kind of stuff on PS1 and PS2 games and there weren't any trophies to earn so... who needs trophies? :P lol.

It's not impossible to finnish the game doing a Chaos NUR challenge... what actually seems impossible for me is doing that WITHOUT dying even once... there's some guy on YouTube who did that without dying so... he's way better than me I guess... No way I'm going to try to do that xD I'm happy with my Chaos NUR challenge with hundreds of deaths xD.

Yeah, I used to grab the scorpions on my first Chaos Run (without doing the NUR challenge)... but when I did the challenge I had to come up with new strategies... like when the scorpions are below the giant scorpion legs, you can burn them with the charged bow of appollo and that will hurt the giant scorpion legs... and the best way of getting rid of the mini scorpions is doing the triangle triangle attack with the cestus... they die very quickly and it gives you more time to hit the giant scorpion legs (if you start grabbing the small ones, the giant scopion will probably spit more mini scorpions when you finnish killing the first 3... and that sucks :P).

Why don't you try doing the NUR challenge? I know it sounds hard but it's not :P The beginning of the game is easy... until the Hades fight, it may cause some trouble but you just need to learn how to dodge him and you will kill him no problem :P and then the rest of the game is easy too until the Giant Scorpion part... Giant Scorpion+Labyrinth+Cerberus= the hardest parts in the game :P

There are some very easy ways of killing the normal enemies... you can use the skeletons to kill other enemies (grab them and press Square to do the battering ram)... The Satyrs can be killed very easily if you proppel them to the air and grab them mid air (it deals a lot of damage) I recommend using the nemesis whip triangle attack for that... The sirens are also very easy, proppel them to the air, grab them mid air and Kratos will throw them against the ground, they will bounce and you can grab them again, and again, and again until the Circle button appears above their head... the enemies that get inside the ground are also easy, just press grab them with circle a few times until they die :P

If you want to know how to kill other enemies easily, just ask me :P

That's the spirit! :D. I recommend finishing chaos mode first and then go for the NUR chaos challenge, Otherwise it will be way too hard if you try to do it the first time you play on Chaos mode >_<.

Lol... I have save data before each boss from the game so I guess I could record myself killing each boss in the game (except for the scorpion and the cerberus, I won't do that again... besides, if I recorded that It may end up being a 2 hours video of me dying a lot of times before killing the Scorpion or the Cerberus, lol).

But I'll need help to record all that because all I have for recording is my Cellphone and I can't hold it while playing the game :S... my little brother will come in handy, I'll just have to convince him, lol.
