Wow, that is far lower than I had expected. I would have thought they were closing in something like 1.5 million has much chatter as there has been about the game.

That is probably maybe $5 milllion to the developer, which is a nice profit given the development cost, but that won't go very far towards funding the MMO like they hoped.

Its a great game. A bit lite on things, but overall a great game. And for that price its a freaking steal.

Are you serious? It's a nice little Diablo clone, and a debut game from a start up developer that was made within a year. Mass Effect 2 it is not.

There really are some deluded people on this site, completely blinded by numbers and with absolutely no insight as to what they actually mean. I think we can take it as read that Torchlight turned a very nice profit on its initial investment, and as such is head and shoulders above a lot of games over the last few years.

hmm I never bought it maybe I should. I am playing Titan Quest LAN at the moment so I will probably burnt out on the genre lol.

It's pretty damn good :D. and for the price of 20 bucks you can't go wrong. You can play for hours

yes!! I absolutely love this game. It's clearly not perfect, but great for an indie game.
