Forums - General - Why is Rachal Scott so popular?

i just looked on the net,nd she even has her own website with stuff about her life and how wonderful she was.

"They will know heghan belongs to the helghast"

"England expects that everyman will do his duty"

"we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender"

Columbine School shooting. She was one of the victims. I'm surprised many of you haven't heard of "Rachel's challenge".

I did my own research today. She's talked about so much because her dad's using her death for his political propaganda to institute Christianity in schools.

He's apparently been lying to his fellow believers by saying that the two shooters asked her if she believed in God before shooting her.

The FBI who investigated the shooting confirmed that this conversation never happen. He's still using this fake event to try and force the teachings of Christianity in public schools though.

So yeah, that's why Rachel Scott is lauded as a modern-day saint and talked about more than any of the 13 victims. It's all about politics.

From reading this post I feel that there is an ulterior motive to the thread.

Haha, I guess it looks that way. xD

Sorry if you feel like I was attacking a particular religion (whether you believe in it or not). It certainly looks that way now but I honestly didn't mean to. I just looked it up after taking a break from studying for my finals and I felt kind of mad after reading what I found out about her father.

Actually, even in high school, I happened to notice that most of the information regarding Rachel Scott was her dad getting pictures taken with celebrities. It made me feel like there was something else behind it besides "Average girl was a saint". And I've always wondered why no one ever spoke of the other victims who were shot dead.

But, regardless, I am sorry if I came out like a jerk. Again, I didn't mean to do that.

I remember hearing about her, but not by name. I wasn't aware people still cared, quite frankly. I would say America's lost recollection of Columbine as a life-changing event, much like all other cataclysms (even 9/11)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Seems you had the answer all along right under your nose. Thread locked.
