you should understand now..when you get a 360 you run that risk of it locking up

Not on topic, but this is why I personally don't want a mic for the wii.  I can't imagine the crap I'd have to listen to when playing online, especially in games like SSBB where taunting is just natural.

I heard some people complaining about the lack of voice chat in Resistance a while ago, and while it isn't true, (you can use mics) I almost wish it was. I don't have a mic, I feel no urges to talk to with anyone while playing Resistance, and assholes keep doing things like playing rap music through their mic at monster volumes for the entire match. I HATE rap music in the fist place, and it doesn't sound any better after it goes through a mic. Thank god I finally figured out how to mute individual players

On topic, I don't really see how scratched game discs equals 5 million smackaroos, but hey, I've seen people get sued for smaller indiscretions, and get nailed for three or four times that much money. Be interesting to say the least.

 Don't games usually offer muting options? Anyway, reminds me of Counter-Strike.

I have no idea about the muting options of other online games, but seriously, mic abusers in Resistance are horrible....you can't even tell what the noises are half the time, it could be music, it could be four guys partying, or it could be just one guy taking a giant dump into a megaphone. My brother suggested that last one after one of the most annoying matches I ever played, made so by some douche doing god knows what on the other side of his mic.

There should be no need for lawyers. Laws should be required to be written in plain lamen terms much like a newspaper. The law should not be interpeted. It should be black and white. You will never have lawyers eliminated simply because most of your law makers are lawyers. It's no surprise that we have politicians instead of leaders in charge of our country today. This is the first I have heard of any problems with Halo 3. Over at my friends house, he did have to take his 360 back to get replaced, but Halo 3 hasn't given him the least bit of trouble. I wish all lawyers would be disbared and forbidden from practicing law. I think it's a bit harsh to ask them to die. :)

Crazy guy... its people like him that make tort reform necessary. He is doing to MS what people sue hospitals over. People like him need to shut up sit down and learn a few things about life. sheesh....

I agree, how silly of him to expect to pay for a product that works.
