15 million shipped isnt unbelieveble, each year consoles sales have been improving, by about 5-10%, the ps3 shipped 13 million in 2009 and sold 12.65 million. at the rate of its sales it will surely surpass 13 million and with gt5 and lbp2, and move coming it will reach 14.5 million sales if not more.

Being in 3rd place never felt so good
