• Sony Corporation announced its consolidated results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2010. Operating revenue was $77,570 million. An operating income of $342 million was recorded. The company posted a net lose of $439 million.

• Networked Products & Services (VAIO, PS3) posted an operating lose of $893 million. 

• Total PS3 number stands at 35.7 million by March 31. PSP total is 63.2 million -- PS2 total stands at 146.8 million

• SCE is planning to sell 15 million PS3 units by March 31, 2011. They plan to sell 8 million PSP units, and 6 million PS2 units.

• The overall result was better than expected.

LoL Vaio is profitable, so is PS2 and PSP. You do the math how much money the PS3 lost then. Probably more than $1 billion in the red.

It was last quarter; they posted an operating income of $211 million mainly due to high Vaio sales. But the Network and Product Services lost $654 million in the previous quarter.
