that first link would suggest to me that perhaps Sony should seriously consider bringing back PS2 compatibility to PS3 and started releasing PS2 games on PSN...

Proud Sony Rear Admiral
The Networked Products and Services division that contains SCE lost $893 million USD for the year, but we don't know how it performed last quarter in particular based on those slides. Anybody have the old figures for Q1-3 for comparison?
Well, that seems pretty much on track. Maybe slightly undertracked, but I think 2 mil in the channel is around normal numbers. Here's hoping Sony can reach their 15 mil prediction. But, if they can get GT5 out (as well as pumping out more of their incredible exclusives) this FY, I can definitely see it happening.
The 15 million prediction implies a drop to at least $249 this year. Probably in anticipation of PlayStation Move. They'll probably sell a standalone ps3 for $249 and a Move bundle with a larger hard drive for $349 or something.

i can't find it even on gaf, it's out there somewhere though. I did find it interesting that Sony mainly points to the walkman as the reason for the rebound in the game divison, with ps3 software and hardware as the smaller part of the reason.
currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Either that, or several very big exclusives.
Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.
