Here's a list of what I'm personally looking forward to come big bad E3 this year.
#5. Natal and Move take over
PS3 Move has gotten some coverage but for the most part Natal has remained in the shadows, that will hopefully all change during the Microsoft and Sony Press Conferences. I expect both to show up and completely blow away everyone. Where as last year we saw some tech demos and mini games, this year we should get some full blown games supported by the various motion controlled set-ups. I still tend to think motion controlled games are a fad (look at my miniscule Wii library) but this years E3 may just shut me up and show me how wrong I’ve been!

#4. Zelda…FINALLY
It seems like forever since Twilight Princess gave Zelda fans what they craved, sure we’ve had some DS Wind Waker sequels but there has never been a true Wii Legend of Zelda game and Nintendo knows what it’s fans want. Also since the competition is getting into the motion control game the big N is really going to need a big press conference to take some of the lime light away from Microsoft and Sony. Now come on Nintendo, you released a teaser poster last year so it's time to deliver! A Wii Zelda with Wii-Motion Plus support and even better graphics than Twilight Princess is what the doctored ordered. Mario and Samus took center stage last year and it’s Links turn to run with the Nintendo torch for awhile and keep Nintendo going strong. Also wouldn’t be surprising for Pikmin 3 to show up.

#3. Metal Gear Solid Rising (!)
After the big tease we got last year who isn’t expecting an epic new trailer for Rising? PSP owners are well off enough with Metal Gear but the bread and butter lies in the console market and this multi-platform title has Metal Gear fans foaming at the mouth for new info. Sure it stars Raiden but don’t let that detour you, at least its cyber-ninja Raiden and not naked cartwheel Raiden. See there is always a bright side to things.

#2. 3-D Gaming
3-D televisions are hitting the market and 3-D movies are (slowly) following suit, the next logical step is gaming. There are already report of 3-D gaming being worked on and I expect that the concept may take center stage at E3 ’10. Hell they had Gears of War 2 running in simulated 3-D last year so why not have Gears of War 3 be released in 3-D this year! The real question is going to be whether the current hardware is adaptable to 3-D or will it require a new platform…Hmmm could we be seeing new console reveals?!? It is nearing the end of the cycle but I got to seriously doubt that, although Nintendo could use an HD console come to think of it…HMMMM

#1. The Games!!!
For me it’s never the hardware its all about the game reveals. Go ahead announce a new X-Box, sure that would be cool but I won’t be playing the thing for a year or two anyway, I want to see epic trailers for games that have been announced and surprise (EVEN MORE) epic trailers for games that haven’t been announced! I’m looking forward to some new media for Arkham Asylum 2, The Force Unleashed 2, Metal Gear Rising, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Gears of War 3, etc… and hopefully some surprise guest maybe GTA5 or another such announcement that would just floor all us gamers.

Any way you slice it E3 is basically like a weekend long visit to the holy land for us gamers. It basically gives us an idea of what we will be playing and when we ill be playing it for the next year or so. It’s the best time of the year for gamers and its right around the corner. Get excited, I KNOW I AM!
