I was under the impression that this map would be available during the beta. If so then when?

They do have set release dates for all the maps and modes, its somewhere on their website. I think generator defense goes live May 14th so thats when you get to play the map.

There will not be any more maps for the beta. Just the current three. BTW, which map are you referring to?

umm what are you talking about jagged there's four maps for the beta. The last one is called Overlook and for the beta will be used exclusively for generator defense. The playlist for generator defense goes live May 14th. Here's some gameplay and a walkthrough of the map

That is the set date right now but Bungie have said they would extend it if they felt the need to gather more data. I wouldn't be surprised if the they extend it a day or two due to the difficulties people had playing the first day, thats what they did with the Halo 3 beta too when their servers crashed.
