Forums - Sony - IGN, EGM, G4, speak the truth about the PS3.

Well lets do a wait and see.

I want a PS3 for Final Fantasy Versus XIII, but I haven't seen any gameplay videos yet so, I'm not interested in the system yet. The 360 is what pulling me into its side just for the simple fact it has titles that are good now and promising titles in the future.

But the 2 editiors made some good points, lets just see of Sony PS3 can live up to it.

The 40GB must be an excellent seller buy the way. Its selling like hot cakes and that would be the SKU I would buy since I have a PS2 Slim already. So backwards compatilibity is a no problem for me.

I have come to the conclusion that Diomedes is a shill. There is no other explanation every post is the same thing ignore the subject at hand, and make lists. Most posters would not make a list made primarily from ports, or with no consideration for quality. Why not just copy paste a release list. Just throwing garbage on the fire.

That said the interview was terribly weak. The talking heads basically regurgitated the same stale arguments that have been heard for months with no more insight on the subject. Even the reasoning is week the PS3 beating the 360 in Europe by all of fifteen percent is hardly a ass kicking, and if that is the case what is the Wii doing. Might you say the Wii is bitch smacking the PS3 in two markets.

Perhaps the novelty of the Wii in Japan is waning, and honestly it should be waning. Nintendo has hardly put out a impressive lineup this year. Zelda is not terribly popular in Japan, and neither is Mario for that matter. Not system movers, and the high end multi platform games are rarely finding a way to the Wii. That said what Nintendo needs is to bring back the gold from previous generations, and the sales will swing upwards again. However this year hasn't seemed to be that great for the Wii owner in Japan. In response to a lack of highly anticipated software the sales should slump.

Finally Metal Gear again this title isn't going to show up for another six months, and a lot will happen in the interim. Home is merely a virtual world simulator, and the market is filled with those so many in fact that many virtual world projects are going belly up. Were there a game to focus on for next year right now that is meaningful for the platform it would be Grand Theft Auto. The question will be whether the PS3 version will generate positive momentum for the console, or will the price difference work in 360s favor. This title will shift many consoles. Focus on the proven commodity, and a series that has helped to seriously move systems in the past. Rather then focusing on just another virtual world simulator, or a game that will not arrive till next summer.

 I don't know you personally nor do I really follow your post's much, but I like how you just called a man a "shill" for making a post that supports 1 console, probably his console of choice, I don't recal him slandering "your" 360, or bashing the Wii. If anything I'd call him a supporter from his one post in this topic, and from your response I'd call you and arrogant Fanboy. Please try to be a little more constructive, and who are you to say the Wii's lineup isn't great, last time I checked there don't seem to be many dissapointed Wii fans here, same with PS3 supporters, keep your opinions to yourself and stop pretending there facts -_-

ANYWAYS, I'm glad to see some of the anti-ps3 bs dissapear, (I really do think people are being too harsh for a console thats been around for 1 year but whatever).

You forgot a game. Gran Turismo 5, the only game that sells well in all territories. GTA is a game that gets most of its support in the US, and is far from being balanced.

@ChronotriggerJM

A helpful link, and I am entitled to my opinion. I think Diomedes is a corporate shill he is far too redundant to be sincere. I would recommend you back track his post history, and judge for yourself. I too though he was a harmless crank for a time, but he posts daily, and chronically lists library. There is no variance, and a grand focus on volume. Further more when you review his profile there is no explanation for the polarity. He has a huge variety of hobbies, and yet spends hours each day on this particular forum. There are many indicators that we are looking at a shill.

Shill or not, I don't think it's in anyone's place to "call him out" in a topic where he's done nothing but support. Wait for him to do it in an Xbox 360 topic before calling him out lol. Otherwise I simply say he's a supporter and at least contributed to the conversation at hand. And yes I know your entitled to your opinion, but picking fights never goes over well -_-; could you at least keep "offensive" opinions to  yourself?

Then there would be nothing to post for Docede, right?

Well stated.

Roffle. You talk about picking fights but you all pile on Dodece for pointing out that Diomedes is a clown. Seriously, I think this is the first time I've seen anyone actually try to defend Diomedes. DIOMEDES!
