Forums - Microsoft - Shall I keep it or sell it..?

Yup, have definitely decided to keep it now, just went to Computer Exchange and got myself Mass Effect 1 and Fable 2. I was going to get the Xbox Fable: The Lost Chapters but they didn't have it in stock which is annoying.

Just one quick question regarding that title, is it the equivalent of a Game Of The Year Edition these days in that it contains the original game and expansions..? Or will I have to get the original Fable as well as The Lost Chapters to get the 100% full Fable experience..? They had the original Fable in there too but I didn't get it in case it was the same game as the Lost Chapters minus the expansions.

I agree you should wait, a new slim moel might come out, tho it could initially have problems. I would want one with a HDD, i dont believe the arcade has one but you can buy one.

Waiting isn't an option mate, I've got it for free on the CokeZone rewards thingy! I'm definitely keeping it now though, there are some excellent exclusives for it. I wouldn't think of myself as a proper gamer if I didn't have all 3 consoles this gen now I've been thinking about it. All 3 consoles are excellent and all 3 have a wealth of great quality exclusives.

I've decided to get the 60Gb Starter Pack thingy, I've seen it online for £49.99 so I reckon that should do me as long as I'm careful about what I'm downloading and storing. I'm just really surprised that the 360 is the worst console out of the 3 this gen in terms of external storage!

oh wait you need the hard drive for those games ---extra $100

Thanks for the advice everyone, think I'll keep it now I've been thinking about it.

By the way, how do I go about adding the consoles I own to my avatar..? Might as well add them now I have them all apart from the DS lol.

For the hard drive can I just use any IDE hard drive or do I have to pay an arm and a leg for the official Microsoft ones..?

 

Edit: Cheers Grey21...completely forgot about the old Xbox games, should be able to pick those up as cheap as chips :oD

Damn, if I had my US points over there, I'd be able to walk away with a brand new Bravia TV, and a 360 Arcade to spare! Though I take it that points are much harder to come across over there, too...

Fable: The Lost Chapters contains the full Fable 1 game plus expansion content, no need to buy them both...

It's a Coke Reward scheme. Every time you buy Coke with the CokeZone label there's a 12 digit code underneath it. You register on the CokeZone site and enter the code to gain points. Once you have enough points you can 'buy' prizes with them. I got my 360 Arcade SKU for 800 points. Not too sure how many points you get for each code in the States but here in the UK you get 3 points for every 2l bottle and 2 points for each 500ml bottle, I think there's also points for multipack cans but don't quote me on that as I'm not certain. Basically every Coke product with the CokeZone label will get you points.

I saw the labels on bottles when it first started but automatically dismissed it as a load of old bollocks without even checking things out and I'm really kicking myself now lol. If I'd have joined at the beginning I'd probably have got enough prizes to open up a shop by now lololol.
