I don't use the death trick anyways because well I dunno it's too random and unfulfilling for me anyways :P. and because I don't like controlling vanille (although she's in my party :P)

my fang has 2.8k, so i'm getting close! but I can't beat the damn thing that RAWR's you to death either that you get the growth egg from. So I'm probably playing at the slowest possible pace.

I use lightning, cause I like to see her flip around, haha although I might change that if I can't beat things D:.

bt i hve to, i always finish evrythng in ff games. on ff7 ps1 ther were rumors u cud get a chocobo tht flies in if you get thru midgar section in 5 hours or less. I spent weeks trying to do tht before i realizd it was fake rumor.

Yep, I beat the Long Gui after some careful preparation. I never used the Death trick, not even when fighting Neochu's (the ones who give you the Growth Egg). I tend to have bad luck when using random spells, so I gave up after a while using Death.

My Leader has always been Fang, since chapter 11 started and I never went back

The problem is not how high is your Strength/Magic, is how you set up your Paradigms and how you use them. You'll pretty much have to know by memory every paradigm location, every spell location on each respective job, how much ATB slots they occupy and how much time buffs/debuffs last. All this, while trying to keep up with the insane pace of the battle.

Since Long Gui's have 16M HP, you'll have to take out both their legs twice/thrice per battle and any time they recover from being knocked down, they go berserk and cast a series of Ultima, Bey and Quake (forgot to mention this one as well), which can tear through even your Tortoise paradigm party.

My recommendation is to use a lot of Champion Belt / General Belt or Imperial Armlet, to get at least 25% physical and magical reduction. Forget about Strength/Magic enhancers, Item Drop Boosters and HP enhancer accessories. Focus exclusively on Damage Reduction and Genji Gloves for Damage Cap Break.

Lightning & Vanille >> Fang

Vanille is terrible IMO.

One of the worst characters in FF/

I used all three of them in my party xD.

Fang was my leader in end game, mostly because of her Highwind. My Adamantoise/Long Gui/Pretty much every hard enemy strategies revolved in Fang's Highwind.

I can state 95 reasons why Vanille is annoying as crap.

Fang is worse, she trying to be the hero evn harder thn snow bt fails & she tries to outshine lightning but fails. Vanille is sweet. I like all chracters but fang is the worst for me.

I want lightning & squall to hve a baby (my 2 favorite FF chracters)
