Maybe you should try it first before commenting.
I didn't realise you meant SD. As you never said that.
I thought you said only the PS3 can do 3D and that what MS and LG are touting is not real 3D.

Well you're wrong. No amount of backtracking will change that.

It seems from others that you was wrong about 3D being in SD as well. Didn't look SD to me.

wat didn't look SD to you.I'm talking about the 360 not being natively able to put out a HD 3D signal not that your TV will not convert existing HD 360 GAMES TO 3d.

Avatar in 3D didn't look SD to me and i'm talking about the 360 able to output a 3D signal not that your tv will not convert HD 360 games to 3D.

I like the way you've suddenly gone on about HD and SD. You never said that first of all. Regardless Avatar is HD and 3D so what type of signal is being sent?

Seems the 360 can unless there's some point you forgot to mention that I'm missing.

firstly lost planet 2 sucked,i loved the first one with snowy environment.Plus this was  heack glitchy and irritating.Avatar was also a bad game and i din't feel much 3D atall.Very low quality

360 at 720p is possible but most likely will be compromised for high quality games like Gears. But anyways i don't think MS will push 3d MUCH.

Avatar may not have good gameplay but I didn't read a single review that said it looked bad. Quite the oposite...

wtf are you talking abt?

Only PS3 can do 3D IN THE CONSOLES SECTION.

This 3D that LG and MS are touting is not real 3D production. This is only how 3DTV's can convert 3D in 3D,they can do this with any media.Even with  PS1.

Originally developed and converted 3D will have big differences

True, but that doesn't prevent it from doing 3D. Just not in the same fashion as PS3. There will be 3D games on 360 as designed to be 3D.

But that is really besides the point. My main issue is with how 3D is being approached in the home. I absolutely hate the current setup.

yeah i trully agree with you here.I never said 360 won't do 3D just that HDMI 1.2 limits its extent.

You said only the PS3 will do 3D and the 3d on 360 wont be real 3d just converted. By the tv or console I'm not sure which you was talking about.

I've condensed the replies. Not trying to twist them to make you look bad. If you don't like it I'll add the responses I've deleted back.

The main thing about LG partnership is that LG 3D TV's can convert 2D vewing image to 3D image, almost all 3D TV'S can do this but to have a partner is a big thing. This can also be used to play 3D games from 360 with ease.

Search for the Gears 2 3D conversion that was done for CES 2010.

360 can produce 3D natively to but it has some HDMI limitations.

With 3DTV conversion method the HDMI limitations doesn't come into play,it can just take the 2D signal and convert it to 3D.You can play all existing games with this. And every console and every media.

Its just that this conversion is not upto the natively 3D content.

You should have said about the HDMI limitations not that it matters much in the first place.
You wouldn't have to backtrack now and people would have engaged you more.

But then you have spread so much fud you just wanted to cause trouble.

i have explained it in 3-4 other threads but most people don't pay attention  and start bashing again and again.

Thankfully some understood.I don't normally type so much but this site has made my typing better.Anyways love this site.

meh LG tv's look flashy and glossy but they're really not that great. too many unnecessary problems with them. RROD + LGTV = even more hardware fail for MS and LG

This site will have that effect on you.

This why 3D gaming with glasses suck.

My regular glasses are these:

Now tell how am I supposed to wear those 3D shutter glasses over this ones.

If MS or Sony is using shutter glasses they better forget about anyone caring about 3D games. I don't see anyone wanting to pay $100 for glasses to play. They better used polarization.

Shuttering is an old technology.  It sounds like what Sega used -- on the Master System.

But all companies must realize that (a) the glasses must be able to go over the glasses worn by older gamers if they wish to reach an expanded audience and (b) the units must be inexpensive in case they break when people are being over enthusiastic with motion controls.

I haven't read all the discussion so maybe it's been addressed already, but how does partnering with one TV manufacturer on 3D work? Does that mean there are going to be problems for people who own 3D TVs other than LG TVs and would like to do 3D gaming on their 360?

I have some vague recollection that Sony seemed to be implying that their PS3 3D will only be compatible with Sony TVs which is sucky. Then I saw that GT5 trailer where the PD guy was saying that they're busy making GT5 compatible with all 3D formats so it will play on all 3D TVs.

I'm really not liking the way 3D TV is starting off in such a fragmented way, and in the end it's detrimental to the adoption of 3D, in both TV and gaming.
