Also, total sales of Blu-Ray movies have surpassed the 1 mil. mark in Europe, not including movies bundled with ps3s.  Of all HD discs sold in Europe, 73% were Blu-Ray, and 27% were HD DVD.

Blu ray as always. It would be nice to see the Black friday sales though.

I would like to see HD DVD sales pass Blu-ray someday because I believe that in the stand alone players market HD DVD is still leading.

When will this video format war die?

I'm just tired of reading about Blu-ray whens over HD-DVD or HD-DVD has the lead of sales this week over Blu-ray. Can this war be over so that we will have a decided format.

Question

Which is cheaper to develop for?

I like Sony, even though many of their gaming decisions this gen i do not agree with, their other markets i like, TV's and such. I hope Blu-ray wins if there is a winner, but i am just fine with DVDs.
