I just read preview of lbp2 (EUROGAMER), it seems floaty jump won't be a problem in lbp2, that is an awesome news.

For the casuals, there will be dozens of things that they can get working in a few minutes; for the rest of us, there should be more than enough stuff to tinker with for hours on end."

lol, Me also i love the floaty jump's also, but now that you can tweak the sackboy's themselves that make's it unique to offer more game experiences for the gamer with the LBP game engine which is very Cool, in my opinion this extra function's make LBP 2 a core

staple for the PS3's genre

now there is so much you can do just with

LBP

and now  with MNR make's that area Play, create , share pretty much cemented the basis of that genre on the playstation platform

Now sport's game's and stratagy will soon be next. this genre is shaping up to be top notch.

can someone explain this floaty jump bug ? i don't know what it is actually.

it's not a bug, it was the way the game developer's directed the physic's of the core function of the sackboy's movement in little big planet.

and not just Sackboy's but other object's and their physic's interaction in it's enviroment. now with the ability of tweaking these setting's in little big planet 2. anyone who want's less float physic's can enable less floaty an more gravity in their physic's. less or even more weightless feel to the game.

its not a bug lol... its part of the game...
people actually hated how you float in the air and it can be quite annoying
when you are jumping to avoid a hole for example xD
nice to see you can fix it xD
i wanna see some space levels with no gravity LOL

i loved the old jumps, it added more drama since it was slow and i didnt know whether i was going to make it or not.



You can still have the old jumps, lol. The quote says it's tweakable. Not changed forever with no going back.
