I'm aware of that.  Some people don't seem to be though.

As far as the rest of the Wii's lineup, most of the sequels to the GC's best selling games have yet to be released. Mario Kart DD and Super Smash Bros. Melee were the two best selling GC games and both of them are being released next year. Pikmin, Animal Crossing, Mario Basebal, and Kirby all have games set for release next year as well. Nintendo also has Wii Fit, Wii Music, Wii Chess, massive amounts of Wii Ware games, and Disaster: Day of Crisis as new IPs. That's not counting anything unannounced.

From third parties they have Tales of Symphonia: KoR, Baten Kaitos 3, Oboro Muramasa, Fragile, Okami, Harvest Moon, Monster Hunter 3, King Story, FFCC:TCB, No More Heroes, Monster Lab, Wii Ware games like FFCC:TYKatPL, and more.

Interesting.  So 17 teams, multiple projects within teams, and some 3rd party collaborations.  They didn't predict any work being done on an F-Zero or 1080 Snowboarding game. That's odd.  Retro announced they were working on 2 games, neither of them Metroid.  Nintendo claims many of their internal studios are working on Wii Ware titles, so that could explain some of those holes.

All this past year people have made thread after thread like this, the arguments and claims change with the times, but it ultimately always ends up the same thread, people trying to rally support for the belief that things are at any point going to get better for Sony.

Optimism is not a crime... Hope is not sin... And supporting the Ps3 is not a mistake. But please don't piss in my ear and tell me its raining.

Like anyone else I can't say for certain things will get worse or better for Sony, But what I can tell you is that simply making the same argument over and over that future exclusives which everyone has known about since the PS3's launch will at any point become an X factor in turning things around for the Ps3 has fallen flat on its face so many times its just offensive now.

Remember Uncharted: Drakes Odyssy? Remember Ratchet & Clank? Remember Heavenly Sword? Remember Lair? Remember Motor Storm?

All these games were suppossed to turn things around for the PS3. All these games were allegedly going to be the end of the drought and the beginning of a golden age. Each of these was to usher in the beginning of Sony domination.

The PS3 might do well, it might continue to suffer, I can't say. It might be better though if we just wait patiently and watch what unfolds. Making overzealous predictions now are just going to come back to bite us in the ass.

What?  Is that job already taken by Nintendo?

As most of the hard core later adopters grow, its gonna be matched with the casuals. Family friendly games, reasonable price points,  quality library of games of various genres.  Sony has quite a few hard hitting exclusives and thats  gonna turn the tide. Especially if Nintendo and Microsoft stagnate as expected.

See what I did there?

it might have been good if your post made sense. But it doesn't. You have failed to put together coherant sentences. You fail.

It might have been good if you could have realized that my original post was parodying the "Sony will have a tougher time in 2008" thread.  I copied and pasted the original paragraph the OP of that thread wrote and spun it so that it was positive for Sony.    You have failed to understand a joke and just fail.  Yes, you sir, fail.

I did understand that. Hence why I said "It might have been good". That does not change the fact that the post you were "parodying" was constructed from coherant sentences whereas your "rebuttal" did not actually make any sense at all.

I understood your intent however you have completely failed at the execution. Either way, you still fail.

Help! I'm stuck in a forum signature!

That was clever and contributed greatly to the discussion.

So now we have a Sony version of Gballzack on the forum?
