Sorry, but I'm not really interested in the multiplayer, and in singleplayer it just feels like a standard shooter with a bad story to me. I finished it, but I wouldn't finish it again.

Why are you sorry? It's your opinion. I love the story, and I love the singleplayer. But it doesn't make your opion wrong. It shows varying gamers like different things. :)

9/10 from me just like Halo 2. The story was very anticlimactic and didn't really pack any punch. Despite killing a few characters it didn't even seem like they tried to put any weight behind the melodramatic tone carried in the game. That being said there were some awesome battles (double Scarab anyone?) and playing the campaign with 3 friends is my favourite part of the game. Music was awesome as always.

I never really got a chance to blow out on MP gaming in this one due to school but from what I played it was good. Not as good as Halo 2 or 1 but definitely up there. I'm not much of a multiplayer gamer anymore so that might also be why I didn't enjoy it as much.

btw. I had much more fun playing ODST and I don't really know why.

Anyway, I will definitly have an eye on Halo: Reach

This game made me Like halo NOT LOVE IT but i liked the game i thought it was good and the multiplayer was LOADS of fun they had, imo, worked out the multiplayer experience to its fullest potential or at least a level where i liked it. I had managed to play the beta at a friend and was sold... HALO was finally consistant fun and Unique too i was able to justify my purchase of a 360 at the time to play Gears of war and Halo with my friends.

to me the story has kept it from a 10. Halos universe is just not something magical to me.

with the advent of the halo reach beta I played at my friends house I think we have another 9 comming from bungie....

Had to go with 10/10 even though it's more of a 9.5/9.6 for me. Best online experience ever made! Great story that I understood well even though it was my first Halo. There is room for improvement, wish I hadn't gifted my OSDT to my brother in law or I'd be seeing that improvement in the Reach Beta right now.
