Forums - PC - hardware prices in different countries

hi people, i'm opening this thread to discuss the differences in hardware prices between countries, especially with those we know are more developed in this type of technological area.

Here in argentina a 5850 cost about 500 bucks, how much does it cost in your countries? (any kind of hardware, not just gpu's)

Nintendo is a constant in life. Nintendo is the place where you can always go to have a great time, whether that is alone or together with friends. Nintendo made dozens of all time classics which are more than just amazing games. Nintendo is a gaming company. Nintendo raised our sorry asses better than a parent ever could. Nintendo is a religion. Nintendo is what drove gaming forward and what continues to drive gaming forward. Nintendo saved gaming in the '80s. Nintendo is saving gaming again right now.

Can I make an addendum. This type of comparison isn't equal as it stand. Other factors

Dollar difference
Average income per month
Living expenses per month(I hear some countries rent is 2/3 your monthly pay and food is cheap)

You never know the effect cost per person could be roughly the same across many countries based on income levels and such factors.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

This doesn't make a lot of sense, because I'm a rich punk in Thailand with 10€ but I'm a beggar in the UK with the same money. The World is a screwed place indeed.

But here it goes for the sake of it:

Portugal (That's south Europe, near to Africa. The Desert and Camels land n' stuff)

PS3 - 300€
Xbox Elite - 260€ (currenctly 200€ due to a promo)
Wii - 200€
DSi - 160€ XL - 170€
PSP - I have no idea
GBA - 100€
PS2 - 100€
