I have no idea why but 2/3rds of my post wasn't displayed.

Clearly, your statistics were flawed.

Oh cool! One oughtn't have flawed statistics;

To broaden that question a little, do you care about any of the following things?

- 3D Gaming
- Multi-monitor gaming
- DirectX 11
- Game physics
- GPU computing
- Power consumption/temperature/noise?

And also your current CPU, memory, graphics, motherboard, monitor resolution and budget and games you intend to run would all be valuable information for us to help you.

Whats your buget?

>$100 either a HD 5750 or HD 5770

= $100 HD 5670

<$100 HD 5570

All from ATI

Whats your system?

Run this: http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpuz/cpuz_154_setup.exe

Tell us:

if you have PCI-Express (mainboard tab)
what CPU you are running (main tab)
how much ram you have (memory tab)
what GPU you have now (graphics tab)

Yes i do have a pci express

intel cord 2 quad Q8300 @2.5 Ghz

6gb of ram

i am running an radeon HD 4350, which i am guessing is pretty weak since those you mentioned cost 100 bucks

and thanks.

In that case then if your system has a full size computer case you ought to get an HD 5670 if your budget supports it.

Its probably not that bad. Theres a Gateway with 2GB less ram for $560 incl shipping on Newegg right now. I don't think you were ripped off that bad if at all.

In any case im pretty sure if your PC is a normal shaped tower in terms of width you can run a 5670 with zero problems. If you want to crack it open and have a look at the internals you could go for something faster and more expensive. If you do that what you're looking for either two 4 pin HDD connectors or one 6 pin connector, you can see them both in this picture and they are coming off the power supply unit.

If you have either available you could go for an even faster card like the HD 5750 or 5770 if you'd like.

Tease.

If you get blackouts with your monitor while the computer seems to keep running. It means the video card kicked in and shuts itself off w/o toasting it.

That is when you really need a better case with more airflow.

Specs are fine except for the graphics card then, thanks for posting the information.

I stick with 5670 or 5750 as your main choices here, considering your resolution is low. If you can get a 9800GT for $80 then maybe that.
