anti-abortion, anti-gay-marriage, less funding for public schools, more for private ones (often religious), pro-guns and pro-deathd-sentence,... you don't get much more conservative than that
my guess is that you meant there aren't many liberal right-wings anymore, Ron Paul being probably the last such candidate for a while...

Well, it's my understanding that thinking the government should be taking care of those things is a more liberal idea than conservative. Maybe I've gotten it wrong, but don't conservatives usually advocate having less government control of everything?
The BuShA owns all!
It seems we have a misunderstanding here. Liberal in most European countries is what in the USA is called libertarians. The USA's liberals are here social democrats/left wing.
Fighter, you don't seem to have a bit of knowledge of Spanish politics, the first thing Aznar did was to reduce the public deficit with reduction of the salaries of the public personal, and public spending, so the Keynesian politics weren't favored during Aznar years. It's different than the increase of the private debt, favored by the low interest rates, uncommon in Spain where we had >10% interest rates over 80s and first half 90s.
The problem we've had with Zapatero, the actual prime minister, is that he believes the public spending solves everything, increasing the budget every year in percentages over 10%, and last year the different governments spent more than two times what they received in taxes. This is unsustainable, the banks buy the public debt, because they believe is more secure than giving loans to the private sector, so the companies have a shortage in loans, limiting their margin to make business. The government spending is drowning the economy.
