Well, the mode itself is a neat idea and doesn't suck, it's just not for me.
I like that they made a mode that kind of emulated the arcade feel where you wait your turn, I just hate they got rid of unranked play and replaced it with that.
Now, if I want to play 1v1 someone I either have to play a ranked match or sit through the god-awful boring endless mode and watch the person that will eventually kick my ass.
The ranked stuff is fine and I don't mind having a *really* low rating, I just hate being kicked back out to the lobby after every match. If I find a fun person to play that is about my skill (bad), I want to keep playing them. In SFIV this was fixed by just playing the unranked matches where you could play the same person multiple times. That mode was great, I loved it. I really don't know why they would get rid of that.
Endless mode would be decent if I was decent at the game but since I'm not, I know I have no chance of winning so it turns into waiting 5-10 minutes to play one game and lose. Woohoo?
Hell, even if I was decent it would still be 5-10 minutes to wait to play the person that has won 5+ matches in a row and lose. Woohoo?
Why can't I just have unranked 1v1 where I can continue to play the same person over and over?
