I agree. Not even Fallout 3 can beat it.
It's one of my least favorite games of all time. I'd rather go to work for 8 hours than put another hour into that piece of shit. For me it's right around there with Shaq-fu, Superman 64, Daikatana.

I think too that Morrowind was better than Oblivion... Oblivion is really a good RPG, and maybe still the best on this on this generation. Otherwise I haven't played Demon's Souls, he's coming soon in France (2 months to wait). Then I still have FFXIII to do so I hope they will be as good as Oblivion (even if FFXIII is a different style)

This. A lot of people haven't played Morrowind unfortunatley. =/ |
I agree. Oblivion is good, but not great in my opinion. The some side-missions were simply awesome, the main plot not.
In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.
Demon's Souls is still the best.

i also agree, having all Elder Scrolls game i can safely say that Oblivion is probably the least polished out of the series, the voice acting is made by only 5 people and the dialogs are all the same all the time, the missions are also all over the place, and the character models are ugly.
its a good game but not up to Elder Scrolls standards, thats why i want another they WILL do it right this time.

I've been a huge fan of the elder scrolls series and oblivion was truly a masterpiece. I can still pick it up and put 100 hours into that game it's just amazing. I won't take anything away from the previous titles because I loved them too, but Oblivion was jaw dropping.
What annoyed me about Oblivion was its blandness. It was a bland generic fantasy world with a bland generic fantasy plot. Everything felt bland.

Even though it is not my favorite, it has to be the most amazing game I've ever played. The one and only thing about it that ruined the game for me is the fact that you can change the difficulty at will. This means that no matter what level you are at, you can make any enemy the easiest or most impossible enemy you have ever faced. This was the reason I stopped playing it. I lost my sense of accomplishment because I knew that there was no point to perfecting my character since I could easily beat the hardest enemy in the game as soon as I started it.
