Most memorable: Final Fantasy 6

Yeah, thats your opinion, to me, FFVIII is the worst video game I've ever played. I was such a hardcore FF fanboy I almost beat it too, but I hated playing it the entire time. I even tried to give it another shot, I turned the system off after the opening scene.

I guess in a sense, that makes it "memorable" for me, just not in a good way.

Well...I was a FF enough hardcore fanboy to finish it, but that doesn't mean I enyoyed it. It's sad that the only good memory I have from that game is the card minigame.

I would say that after the awesomeness of VI and VII, VIII and IX were huge dissapointments (along the crappy Chrono Cross, not even close to the masterpiece Chrono Trigger). Fortunately, for me al least, X and XII brought my attention back to the series.
