More favourable yes... more favourable towards kids getting videogames... I doubt it.  Hasn't really helped the movie Industry which needs self regulators.

People like to say that we are born with inalienable rights... in reality it seems as if we don't have those rights until we turn 18.

I disagree.  I think, if most people are idiots... we should allow them free reign to be idiots.  If someone wants to screw up their own lives, it's their buisness as far as I'm concerned.

Lol, yeah that'd be great if they would be kind enough to just screw up their own lives.  Alas they are idiots so instead they go out and crash their cars into others, murder others in attempted robberies to pay for habits, sit on their ass collecting welfare, rape women because they are too much of a loser to get one to like them, start fights because they can't feel good about themselves any other way and so on endlessly.   

Maybe with a few thousand more years of evolution, nature will weed out the nimrods and we won't need it; but for now we still need a lot of regulation and governing.
