Do you think that it'll eventually happen?

I really hope not because it's just a pain having online on all the time. And my connection isn't so great in my area so it would make me quit playing games, but I want to know your opinions. Also, if you are going to post, don't just put yes or no answers please.

I think you mean specifically online DRM ( authentication servers). But I would say all games today have drm on them already(unless you can burn and reproduce the disk there is DRM on it), and eventually I think all games will some form of DRM. I do not think authentication servers is the way to go though.
