No One Lives Forever is awesome. I don't know why more people didn't play it.

Nightfire was really fun too. I loved playing splitscreen against bots.

these are all games I never heard of on release... (well nightfire yes). though I did hear good stuff 2 years ago on the operative. (it's HL engine right?)
