Forums - Microsoft - Official Microsoft Earnings Results for Q3 2010

1.5 million 360 sales according to the powerpoint.  Down 12%, in-line with market.  Software attach rate of 8.8, leads the industry, strength of XBox Live offsetting first party software revenue decline(due to Halo Wars last year), non-gaming revenue up 14%.  They expect EDD to remain flat for full year.  Which goes to July I think.

$1 billion in profit, another $800 million to go before the 360 was worth it. Will they reach that number by the end of the 360s cycle?

So, the 360 is falling so bad in sales yet is likely carrying a division that has a ton of R&D projects in it that have yet to yield a profit?

I love it when a simple fanboy argument becomes so complicated that it separates the kids from the adults.  Sales, profits, market share, public consciousness, demographic expansion . . . oh man winning is so complicated.

Almost a billion eh? I think it'll make it on account of Crackdown etc releasing Q4.

Tease.
