My favourite source doesn't really give a conclusive winner.....Just a conclusive looser....

What poll is that? a poll of people married to David Cameron?

the Daily Mail, so Brown willl come last every time, lol

whats disturbing for Cameron is that Clegg topped him again in there poll, the Mail is definitley much more Tory than Lib Dem.

YouGov:

Cameron 36%
Clegg 32%
Brown 29%

ComRes:

Clegg 33%
Cameron 30%
Brown 30%

Channel 4:

Clegg 52%
Brown 31%
Cameron 17%

Daily Mail:

Clegg 44%
Cameron 43%
Brown 13%

Guardian:

Clegg 58%
Brown 29%
Cameron 13%

Clegg 44%

Cameron 29%

Brown 27%

Averages. I didn't see it like that at all though.

more polls will no doubt come, lol, the media sure do love them!

ComRes voting intention Poll - http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brown-and-cameron-target-clegg-in-debate-1951727.html

EDIT: The polls vary so much compared to last week its strange...

Also SciFi, the guardian seem to be ranking David Cameron lower than the average, much lower.

Looks about right to me. But it is surprising how badly DC is doing considering his early lead in the polls prior to the debates, and how bad GB was doing at the same time.

It will be amazing if the General Election ends up this way.

As for the Guardian, same can be said for the Daily Mail to Gordon Brown, but that's not surprising considering the political leanings of each respective paper. Except the Channel 4 poll has DC almost as low as the Guardian Poll.

I think the country needs a good dose of capitalism

No thank you, It was a good dose of captilism that has lead to the global recession, if they're's anything we do not need it's capitilism.

Not quite true, rastari.

It wasn't capitalism that caused the mess - it was stupidity. When you have countries that owe a lot of public debt in the biggest of troubles, you know it wasn't capitalism.

I digress, its nice to see healthy debate among everyone in the UK. Seeing SamuelRSmith argue that NHS needs to be scrapped in favor of HSAs and emergency insurance makes me giddy.

Oh, as for why people are wondering why people would fall in love with Clegg and the LibDems, despite their priorities being in totally different directions - I would look to none other than our American equivilent, Barak Obama. He proved that if you can look nice, and polish a turd (in terms of policy and experience), you can win the people over, especially when you have a very unpopular leader in power. You know, that whole 'change you can believe in' speel - even if whats contained wherewithin is pure crap.

Haha, unfortunately, my views are representative of probably... 0% of the rest of the UK. Everybody else (even Thatcher, god-damn-it) seem to have a huge love-in with the NHS (though I'm sure Thatcher's support was purely for electoral reasons).

---

As for tonight's debate... what a bore. The format meant that the discussion was quickly diverted away from the only two interesting things that came out - Afghanistan and the EU (if people are interested - I'm in favour of both. Though I wish to see heavy EU reforms - particularly in the removal of CAP, and lowering/eliminating of all trade barriers outside of the EU).... and then all the politicians had a nice 9 minutes to tell us how they're jumping at the bit to waste our money on fighting climate change. BAH!

Lib Dems could get a majority in people but, there is no chance in seats.

The only way they will get in is with Brown in a coalition. (Likely)

if anyone wants to see how polls *might* affect the house of commons:

Ok, looks like the polls are in a fragile state and changing all the time.

thats because of the electoral system, which needs to change to PR imo.
