gow screen shots are nothing compared to wgat i saw while playing the game.

ot: it's what happens when people get hyped because of graphics.

Environment, Lightning, Animations, Tbh textures are all for U2 in my opinion atleast.

@selnor you might as well ask for the thread to be locked down, when the best comment the graphics of AW are deserving is a lukewarm "decent visuals" (Eurogamer) .... LOL

Well I guess that's the end of 'Microsoft Magic' stuff, which is good, now hopefully people will be realistic and the game will get recognized for what's important for this type of game, gameplay and atmosphere (hope this overhype stuff won't damage sales which I sadly think might be the case, fingers crossed since I sincerely want this game to sell well)

I knew we shouldnt expect those developer to release a blockbuster title after their fishy development and the PC cancellation issued by microsoft (actually 85 was my metacritic expectation in a thread 2 months ago). Im sure epic and bungie will do better tough. In any case, the critic for alan wake is still very good, im gonna rent it.

to sum up this thread:

1. Alan Wake has NOT the best graphics this gen.
2. Alan Wake still looks amazing.
3. Alan Wake has the best lightining this gen (so far).
