No He's not.

Twisted Metal has always been overrated and if he's done anything else besides the first God of War I don't know what it is.

Whereas Peter has made very established games and his track record is much better than than David's.

 

woooaaahh twisted metal is definitely not overrated, jaffe has a very great creative mind dont hate on wicked games like twisted metal and god of war just cause you dont like the guy lol.

peter's track record is definitely not worse nor better , he has a very bad tendancy to over promise under deliver and that is the worse possible thing someone in this industry can do and black and white were his best games not fable , although fable one was good 2 was nothing special 3 has promise but again he is to focused on talking about the hype and not showing the goods and its always been this way even back in the day on pc

I don't hate David Jaffe because of God of War. I love GoW.

But Twisted Metal is overrated. More so than Final Fantasy VII.

Peter may over promise things, but it's because of the contraints that he has. He would love to incorporate everything into his games.

David Jaffe on the other hand only made a outline of God of War and had his team make it. Twisted Metal isn't a creative game series either. Black & White is. Fable is.

twisted metal isnt a creative game series LOL , i remember playing the first 2 and becoming so immersed into each players story and the gameplay kicked royal ass in coop it esspecially shined,  if anything jaffe took a basic idea like cars beating the crap out eachother and turned it into a whole plot filled with awesome characters and amazing gameplay, very creative if you ask me.

final fantasy 7 is amazing and majority of gamers will agree you are the much smaller minority that doesnt agree and thats ok its your choice.

peter doesnt know how to incorporate everthing into his games because he is not as great as his ego makes himself out to be. even his black and white series is very flawed to the core but they are his best work in my mind , that alone tells me enough about what type of developer he is, he talks big and tries to do big but never really succeeds

I'm sorry, but I put Peter up there with Will Wright when it comes down to it.
