In countdown threads its traditional to have a countdown meter

I don't mean to be off topic...but why did you reserve the second post, if you aren't going to put the countdown clocks there? Or even just in the original post?

I cannot wait for this game CGI so I appreciate you doing these threads. Unfortunately this will be the last thread I post in about Alan Wake now on here as its not possible to just have a discussion with people actually interested in this game without people coming in and wrecking every single topic with silly agendas.

Alan Wake looks the best new IP this year to ME and its a day one purchase without a doubt, graphics look awesome but its the gameplay that is just as interesting to me personally.

I'm not sure what vibe I finally got from the previews, etc. but something resonated with me about 2 months ago and that over-rode 5 years worth of apathy to this game.

I reserved it shortly thereafter and am only disappointed in this thread by one thing...STILL 28 days to go! :(

I'm exactly the same in all honesty.  The game always looked pretty but there was so little hard details given on the gameplay to expect and the fact no release date was ever given always prevented me getting too excited.  Every video I see of this now it gets more and more exciting, it really does look like its been expertly polished off.
