Legend of Zelda, Mario, and MGS are my three favorite franchises.

Dude, this isn't really fair... I mean comparing Miyamoto to other developers is like comparing Hulk Hogan to other wrestlers. They each pretty much made their respective industries what they were so it's nearly impossible to get an objective view on either and their contrabutions pretty much make them the most important if not the best.

Sonic didn't exist until 1991. It is highly unlikely that the industry would have existed in a form capable of yielding the character without Miyamoto.

Wii game = Boktai/Lunar Knights offshoot? Seems possible...

If Kojima produces another Zone of the Enders game that's at least as good as The Second Runner, that will be good enough for me. I don't even care what platform it's for.

nomura is good, but he has not had many games, though everything hes touched has almost been gold

If versuses kicks unbelievable ass he may stand in the same room as miyamoto

also couldnt we include sakaguchi, though hes had some terrible crap, he is known for most of the FF, KH, chrono trigger, and other games

 I've loved what little I've played of ZotE 1.  I need to get my hands on those games, but they are so hard to come by brand new.

Most of the (released) games Nomura has worked on have been in an artistic capacity. The Kingdom Hearts series has been his only significant role in development.
