lol I think this is the first time I have ever read a topic and completely disagreed with everything SSJ said.

In other news, Nomura has done jack shit. Kojima has done 1 series. SSJ suggested Mark Rein which made my ribs hurt.

If you are going to try and give Miyamoto competition why don't you pick some ACTUAL good developers. How about Shinji Mikami, Hiranobu Sakaguchi, Gunpei Yokoi, Eiji Aonuma, and Gabe Newell (he may be fat but he gets it done!).

Harsh as always naz to anyone who does not agree with you.

Nomura is not yet done enough to stand with them

however, if his work continues like it has he will easily one day stand with them. everything hes done has done extremely well.

Hey, they can have their opinions, but that doesn't stop me from thinking they are funny.

As far as Nomura goes, he's only had a major part in 2 games.  Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2.  In Kingdom Hearts he had Sakaguchi's help so he doesn't really deserve much credit for that.  The thing is though the games are hardly critically acclaimed masterpieces.  Both games are an 87% on gamerankings, and although I certainly enjoyed them that hardly qualifies a man like that to even be mentioned in this discussion.

I personally like Kingdom Hearts better than MGS, but that doesn't stop me from admitting that Nomura has no right to be on a list with Kojima.

Indeed they can.

Yes, both have been huge hits, and he also did advent children, also a very danm good movie, and critally acclaimed. Thats why i stated hes not yet able to stand up to them yet, but if his work continues he will be. I expect versuses to be fantastic, that trailer was VERY VERY well done.

You and me both know naz that gamerankings can be completely off sometimes. Just as AC i completely disagree with reviews based on the game, and once again IGN fails me for being accurate to my taste heck or letting the hype of a game give it a lower score. Game is really loved by millions. You should know by the taste of your games half the time that game ratings dont mean everything. This and alot of the games i treasure have been rated poorly but that does not mean the developers can not be seen as anything but the best by those who love their games.

Seriously a 76 from IGN, completely unbelievable and bullshit. This game had such more heart and emotion, yet look what they gave to FF 12 IMO has nothing on KH 2 (terms of story).

Again matter of opinion naz you can laugh all you want but to me nomura is well qualified, though not on those levels. I agree that alot more people deserve to be there over him.

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Proud supporter of all 3 console companys

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

Koji Kondo would win just like Myamoto.

IGN's KH2 review highly praises the production values, but condemns the hack 'n' slash gameplay as a large step backwards from its predecessor. It seems like a reasonable opinion to me.

Hates Nomura.

I think Uematsu would definitely give Kondo a run for his money.

I agree about removing Miyamoto. Anyone willing to step up and run this elimination game?

I'll set it up. Give me 15 minutes.

Rol has once again commandeered one of Soriku's ideas for a useful purpose.

Sanity 2. Soriku 6,232 (and counting).

Aw. There there. We're laughing with you, not at you.

Who could say no to this face?

Also, I think I know where they got their inspiration for Tingle from...

And who would have thought that this man plays in an awesome rock band?

Hates Nomura.
