Forums - Microsoft - What do you most want in Mass Effect 2?

After beating this great game I want to be able to continue my story line as a ruthless sob.  I am going to get started on being a good guy as well but man I really what I have done continues on to future games.  Would be so sweet to continue my save files as I am surely going to beat it a number of different ways.

For those curious it took me about 17 hours though I skipped a ton of stuff just in the assigments section I only did 10 out of 27 assignments. I also didn't even take wrex along with me so I skipped all his stuff.  Was tough trying to decide what to do since you don't really know what responce you will get and often times I was concern with being good which I ended being good a few times.  I wasn't going to try to reload the game to try to figured out what was I to do etc as I'll find out next time I play and so on.    Also in those 17 hours I only ran into 1 bug though it was 3 times which is when you can't move.

Basically what do you look forward to in mass effect 2 though please if you can refrain from spoilers that would be great.  Also to get it out of the way yes less bugs etc.

P.S

My official review of the game is a 9.5 with the .5 having to do with the bug I encountered.  If you don't pick up this game the your missing out on a great game especially if your into RPG's.

to not have it made. if it took you what a week to beat it then it is way too short and not worth the money to be made.

 LOL

a decent framerate.

??? lol sarcasm is the only guess i can make. By far one of the best purchases there is out there for a video game.

BTW how can you be so evil! Im completely paragon (1 or 2 renegades made fun of joker at begining)

ALso ive only used two people because of those stinking achievements im trying to get, then next playthrough i can actually use the people i want thankfully.

What i want to see is........hmm even more moves and more RPG elements. Just all around awsome kick ass biotics etc

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

Man I hate to break my spoiler rule LOL but Lets just say I killed a few people in cold blood. By the way I don't mind the negative stuff as if you actually ran into those then by all means report them. I beat the game and besides getting stuck 3 times I had a blast and can't freaking wait for more.

I would like to see...
1. Better Framerate
2. No texture popping
3. Longer main story line
4. More biotic powers

I absolutely loved the game, but it had a few minor problems.

The only game that I didn't completed in a week is Oblivion =/.

To those that are complaining about the length:

The amount of side quests is monstorous. I'm 11hrs into it and haven't completed a single main quest storyline after leaving the Citadel. Mass Effect is about options. If you want to beat the MQ in a few days you can. You can also take 50hrs+ to do most things. It mirrors Oblivion in the fact it's a huge sandbox world, that you can do alot of things at any given time.

I would agree that importing your character to ME2 would be good.

What I would want (although I'm not that far really):

#1. Melee weapons
#2. More biotic powers
#3. A bigger turn-based interface, where you can issure more commands, and such like KOTOR.
#4. Bigger, more detailed landing worlds for the Mako.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

More alien lesbian sex scenes.

Just kidding, I agree with these:
1. Better Framerate
2. No texture popping
3. Longer main story line
#1. Melee weapons
#2. More biotic powers
#4. Bigger, more detailed landing worlds for the Mako.

I'm not done with the game yet, but what about:
-alien homeworlds
-other vehicles besides the Mako, even if they are similar
-the ability to upgrade the Mako (it's way too powerful)
-more bad guys to fight on the landing worlds

And maybe some sort of co-op or multiplayer?

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick
