Forums - Gaming - So, I was playing this one game and I realized how low gaming has become...

11 hours on a PS2 RPG game for 1 dungeon. That's slightly longer than the length of time it takes to complete most RPG's today.

I never realized just how bad the amount content went down with newer gaming systems.

 It's kind of sad really...

Thats about 10 hours more than it should be.

IMO At least.

WHAT'S THE GAME??

Dark Cloud?

Leaves more time to complain about the state of gaming.

Yeah. Very, very difficult to develop a hd character.

How was that time split up, exactly?

Fallout 3, FFXIII, Valkyria Chronicles, Demon Soul's Mass Effect 2, Oblivion, Dragon Age, GTA4, Lost Odyssey And JRPG's I don't like (Resonance of Fate, Blue Dragon)

are all 30-80 hours even more Okay, Mass Effects 2 Pushing it unless you make sure you do everything. (but its so damn good it doesn't matter)

JRPG's have always been long, What New Gen RPG have you played that's short? I can think of one Mass Effect, and that was dissapointing... I haven't played every game tho

That, would be a boring game.

A dungeon, I see 1-2 hours tops...but 11 hours? Damn!

Just an one area like in MGS and that was 12 hours... but Just dungeon or whatever term you want to call it, but if its a game with the same background for 11 hours = ick Example FFXII DAMN TOWER FOR THAT Dynast shard  THING or whatever ( I forgot what what that was)
