Take out the Wii games. The DS games.

Biggest part of them are multiplat. Right?

Yeah I know what he meant but this part:

This gen isnt like any other.Theres always something making these machines seem new weather it be natal or move.The only way would be to decide when the gen is over if it ever ends.

The article is saying that multiplats are the most important games this generation.

I always thought the most important games of a generation are the most sold ones.

I must admit, he does sort of have a point in that Wii shouldn't count. In terms of preferences of the [more] hardcore gamers, the Wii doesn't fulfill the mold as well as the HD Twins. It really did get the shaft this generation in terms of support, and thus, thinking of this from a different perspective than my own, I can understand his points.

Family gaming = Wii

Online Gaming = 360

I'd say this is the HD generation, so get a PS3. Blu-ray FTW. Last gen I played games that fit on DVD, before that I played games that fit on CDs, most of them on just one. This gen we still see games that still fit on 1 DVD (dual layer but still), that's just wrong and old and retro...I want the industry to go forward, and that means new tech IMO.
