3D televisions are supposed to be the next big jump in T.V. technology according to the media. But, all I have heard from the consumer side is it is not worth the investment nor the inconvience of having to wear silly glasses.
Even Televisions without the glasses requirements only really give a simple 2D pop effect, looks cool I suppose but not enough that I would care to even spend a flat $150 for the upgrade (If the specialty hardware and software were even anywhere near that cheap).

Compare this 3D tech to this cool 2D touch interactive holoprojector, I really don't understand why they havent persued this new display route more.

The next step after this is obviously touch interactive full three dimensional holoprojectors. Not sure how they would implement that though. Also, I hear they are pushing 3D games out this year, but I don't know who they are going to sell to (certainly not a large market yet). What do you guys think about all this new tech hubbub?
