Square-Enix: Why Did You Buy The PS3 (Or 360) Version Of FFXIII?

As you all know, the PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIII outsold the 360 version in the US, and while almost anyone can tell you why, Square Enix still wants to know the answer.

If you visit the Square Enix Members website, you can take a short survey. Maybe they was expecting the 360 to sell better. Perhaps they are regreting it. But who knows? They need your help

so, why did you buy the ps3, or 360 version?

the answer is the 360 port was bad compared to the PS3.

not really, it was actually a great port, it runs good, even though its not 1080 and all that, but its not a "Bad" port, like Bayonetta.

Well i think i know the real reason behind this. As you know final fantasy games takes a tremedous amount of time to make. Im thinking 4-5 years for each one. And when your making it for two consoles it takes even longer. The architect for the Xbox360 and PS3 are so different they have to create two seperate codes for the systems. Im thinking they want to find out whether they should waste their time developing for the Xbox360. Its safe to assume the PS3 is safe because theres so much you can do with the PS3 and SE wants to utilize this the best way they can thats why FFvXIII is exculsive to PS3.
