I imagine they probably had to repeat the charges many times because Goldman probably initially said "Funny guys! No matter how many times you guys do this the joke never gets old!" followed by "Wait, you guys are serious?" about a dozen times.

Hope this is true, and that they get nailed to the wall.

bs political game. if anyone committed fraud it was john paulson, picking the collateral for the CDO and passing it as a viable investment when the knew that it wasn't any good; but you'll never see him charged with anything because hes an obama insider. He was one of the few that the treasury okayed to buy the MBS.

im sorry you seem to be under the impression that Goldman stole money. Well your wrong, goldman lost $90M on that deal. John Paulson is the one that gained from it. $1 billion to be exact.

Goldman is the highest rated investment bank , private equity and financial research company out there. They only hire ivy league, if you dont have that you wont get in unless you want to work a non finance role like IT or whatever.
