He confirmes a title update 6 for gears 2. He says that Gears 3 will have more depth, way better lighting, and way better textures than gears 2. He also says the online won't be messed up this time. he says the only way to play cole/baird in single player is through 4 player co-op. female cogs. a new lancer and shotgun. he says shotguns will be better again.

newer executions. a better cover system. you can now bash enemies into a wall if your in cover. (Bash their head similar to uncharted 2 I assume) In the beginning of gears 3, nobody has seen locusts for years, there's just an upcoming threat of the lambent. the woman who writes the gears novels (That sell very well), will be writing the gears 3 dialouge. Everyone's stranded, anya is forced into battle.
